Founded in 1987 and registered under the Government of West Bengal (Regd. No. S/58326 of 1987-88), the Durgapur Blind Relief Society began as a humble initiative by a group of compassionate citizens. Their mission was simple yet profound: to bring essential eye-care to those who could not afford it.
Located on Chitrabhanu Cinema Hall Road, our institution has grown from a small clinic into a comprehensive Poly Clinic, Eye Hospital, and Eye Bank. For nearly four decades, we have been driven by the belief that healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege.
